To get started, click on the Stream tab on the left side of the screen. Then click Add New Stream at the upper right corner of the screen.
From there, Name your stream and select your Primary and Backup Clusters. These clusters are where VVCR is receiving your stream. Pick the cluster closest to where you are streaming from.
Choose whether you want a Single Encoder or a Primary and Backup Encoders.
Single encoder will create the stream on the Primary Cluster. Primary and Backup encoders will create two streams: one each cluster. These are functionally two separate streams, organized on the same input.
Select your Input Type based on the encoder you're using, SRT or RTMP.
SRT Listener is the default. You can also enable encryption. Make sure the encryption type matches what your SRT encoder has available.
If select SRT Caller, you'll have to add the Encoder Address and Port from where you're taking the stream.
You would do the same if you select RTMP Pull.
For RTMP Push you have an option to create a custom stream name (also known as "stream key"). You will have access to it after creating the stream.
Click Save when you are done setting up the stream.
Click on your stream name to see your inputs.
Copy and paste the Input IP Address into your encoder.
Once you have an incoming stream, you can choose either a pull output or a push destination with the options in Outputs.
