HEVC is gaining more adoption and is supported by many professional hardware decoders. VVCR is able to play back HEVC streams in supported browsers.
To preview an HEVC stream, use VVCR in the following browsers:
- Chrome
- Safari
- Edge
- Opera
When attempting to play an HEVC stream in a non-supported browser, the stream status icon will show the stream as Active. However, the preview will display a plain black screen instead of the video.
