Click on the Destinations tab and click Add New Destination.
Name the destination.
Click on the Stream Name dropdown menu and select a stream.
Adjust the Stream Cluster and Stream Encoder if needed.
Select an Audio Track if the stream has multiple tracks.
Set output type to RTMP Push.
To get the Stream URL and Stream Key go to your Vimeo homepage, click the New Video drop-down menu, and select Create Event.
This will take you to the event setup page. Adjust the stream settings on the left side of the page.
Click on Manage Production at the top right and select Stream via RTMP.
Copy the Stream URL and Stream Key and paste them into VVCR.
Under the stream key there is an option to preview the stream before going live.
Leave the Authorization Schema on None.
Check Enable Transcoding under Transcoding Settings to change the resolution of the stream.
You need to have transcoding enabled on the cluster and stream to access this feature.
Check the Start Stream Immediately button to start the stream as soon as you press Save.
You can also press the Play Button in the destination tab to start pushing the stream.
After you start your stream, it should connect to Vimeo in a few seconds.
Press Go Live when you’re ready to start the stream.
Here are Vimeo’s recommended stream specifications:
Recommended Resolution: 1920 x 1080
Recommended Framerate: 30 FPS (Preferred), 60 FPS (Max)
Recommended Video Bitrate: 4,000 - 7,000 Kbps
Recommended Keyframe Interval: 2 Seconds
