Click on the Destinations tab and click Add New Destination.
Name the destination.
Click on the Stream Name dropdown menu and select a stream.
Adjust the Stream Cluster and Stream Encoder if needed.
Select an Audio Track if the stream has multiple tracks.
Set output type to RTMP Push.
To get the Stream URL and Stream Key go to your Twitter homepage, click More, and Media Studio.
Click Producer and Create Broadcast.
Create a Broadcast Name and select a category for your steam to fall under. From this menu you can also choose your audience and schedule at start time.
Click on Source and Create A New Source.
Add the source name and pick the region the source originates from.
Copy the Stream URL and Stream Key and paste them into VVCR.
Select Periscope for the Authorization Schema.
Check Enable Transcoding under Transcoding Settings to change the resolution of the stream.
You need to have transcoding enabled on the cluster and stream to access this feature.
Check the Start Stream Immediately button to start the stream as soon as you press Save.
You can also press the Play Button in the destination tab to start pushing the stream.
The stream should connect to Twitter in a few seconds.
Click Create Broadcast to go live on Twitter.
Here are Twitter’s recommended stream specifications:
Recommended Resolution: 1280 x 720 (Preferred), 1920 x 1080 (Max)
Recommended Framerate: 30 FPS (Preferred), 60 FPS (Max)
Recommended Video Bitrate: 9,000 - 12,000 Kbps
Recommended Audio Bitrate: 128 Kbps
Recommended Keyframe Interval: 3 Seconds
