Go to the Streams tab in VVCR and click Add New Stream.
Create a SRT Listener stream. Adjust the rest of the settings as needed.
Select your stream and click on the Inputs tab. Copy the IP address.
Open Rivet and click Create Stream.
Give the stream a Name and enable the Contributor Camera.
Paste the Input IP Address from VVCR into the Decoder Address box. Rivet will automatically move the port number to the correct box.
Set the resolution.
If you enabled encryption in VVCR , make sure you select the same format you selected in VVCR and paste the password into Rivet.
If you want a Program Feed to be sent back to Rivet, paste in the IP Address and Port number from the encoder.
Adjust the Latency.
VVCR doesn’t require a Stream ID but you can add one for extra security.
Toggle on Start Date and Expiration to have the stream active on specific dates.
Click Enable Telemetry for stream analytics.
Click Hide Information to hide the IP Address from the talent.
Click Create Stream.
Launch your stream or share the Rivet ID with your talent and have them click Start Broadcast.
Go back to VVCR.
Select your stream, click Outputs. Scroll down and select Preview to view your stream.
From here you can click on the Outputs tab to get the pull outputs to bring the stream down from the cloud or create a new Destination to route the stream to a platform.
